Limited Capacity seats available

Join Dara and Elizabeth as they present the results and insights from a qualitative study of Yoga For Everyone, the community yoga class Dara built from scratch over 5 years ago. The study provided a participant perspective on the value of a community yoga class for positive physical, mental, and emotional impact as well as social and community building benefits. These insights and understanding can inform future community programs for people living with disability.

We will review the motivators and spark of the class, what the students experience, and the results. Participating in this session will allow you to walk away with tools and insights for building your own adaptive yoga community.

Topics will include reasons for and challenges in participating, the importance of format and social experience, and the interaction between the teacher, volunteers and students.
