I spent decades believing that yoga couldn't be for me. Now I both have a deeply healing practice, and teach yoga / provide a space to other yoga teachers who hold space for students who weren't always sure that yoga could be for them. With Breedlove Yoga NOLA, I am endeavoring to create a space that explicitly welcomes practitioners who may feel less than fully welcome in mainstream yoga spaces. Talk to me about feeling rejected by big studios and the young, thin, naturally flexible, almost exclusively white and cisgendered people that tend to be in them - and how we change the paradigm.
